It indicates the end of winter and signifies the victory of good over evil. Holi celebration typically includes colours, water guns, water balloons, coloured water. - Pre Holi Skin and hair care
Apply a thick layer of almond oil on hair and moisturizer on face, neck, hands and other body parts. This will make your hair and skin greasy and prevent the colours from settling deep in them.
- Post Holi Skin and hair care
Make a paste of besan, curd, neem, and honey. Gently apply on face, keep it for twenty minutes. Then wash it off with lukewarm water to remove the colours. Use mild herbal shampoo on the hair to remove colour.
- Tips to protect your hair from the damage caused by Holi Colours?
Make a paste of lemon juice, Curd and honey. Apply it on hair starting from the roots to the tips. Keep it for half an hour and wash it with lukewarm water using herbal shampoo. Prefer use of organic hair colour made from flower petals especially for hair. Avoid oil or turpentine based colour for hair.
Apply good amount of moisturizer to your body. It will nourish your skin and also act as a protective barrier between the skin and the colors. Herbal Aloe vera gel can be used as a natural moisturizer to soothe and hydrate the skin.
Apply sunscreen generously. The more amount of time you spend in sun, greater are the chances of tanning. Prefer sunscreen with SPF 50, so that you are sure about not getting tanned in the sun.

Apply lip balm generously. For Lip care, use a herbal lip balm to keep lips moisturized and protected while playing holi.
